

Jack Cage
Jack H. Cage, PhD, is president of Cage Talent and co-owner of Antigua Partners, Inc., a corporation in New York. A graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, Jack served in the US Army as a commander of infantry units; a special assistant to the Army’s senior leadership, advising White House, congressional, and Pentagon staff; and as a CIO overseeing large-scale technology migration programs. He returned to West Point to teach psychology, leadership, and research methods. A recipient of the Bronze Star, among other commendations, Jack retired as a colonel after 22 years.
Jack holds a master’s in social psychology and a doctorate in organizational psychology, both from Columbia University. Upon retirement from the US Army in 1997, he moved to New York City, where he worked for 10 years in executive recruiting/search at the two publically traded executive search firms, Heidrick & Struggles and Korn/Ferry International. At these firms, he specialized in advanced technology and financial services searches, placing senior executives at JPMorgan Chase, McGraw-Hill, Visa, Wells Fargo, and Legg Mason, among many others.
Currently certified in the Hogan suite of assessments as well as Lominger’s Team Architect, Jack is completing certification as a Robbins-Madanes strategic mediation coach. He sits on the board of FedCap, a nonprofit serving underemployed individuals in the great New York area, and does extensive pro bono consulting to military groups and individuals, including the Pat Tillman Foundation. He founded Antigua Partners and Cage Talent with his wife, Laura Larson, in 2007.
Laura Larson
Laura E. Larson, co-owner of Antigua Partners, Inc., is a certified user of Topgrading and a certified assessment consultant in four instruments measuring behavioral and communication styles, motivation and incentives, and professional competencies: DISC, PIAV, and TTI-DNA by Target Training International and Team Architect/Voices 360° by Lominger. She completed all coursework in 2003–2004 at Coach University, one of the few programs accredited by the International Coaching Federation. In addition, she has received intensive one-on-one training in assessments and their use for individuals and teams. As a partner at Cage Talent, Laura recruits and interviews executives for senior roles, including for nonprofit locations in the Middle East and Asia; conducts 360 assessments of top leadership; and offers executive coaching. She also manages Antigua Partner’s publishing division, Leap for Words, which has been in business for two dozen years.
Laura graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois–Urbana with a BS in journalism, with minors in French, English, and German. She has studied Spanish in a 4-week immersion program in Guatemala and Italian during a 3-month stay in Florence. Laura has extensive nonprofit experience, having served on the executive committee of the board of StreetWise, an organization serving Chicago’s homeless, and as an award-winning volunteer, hotline counselor, and community educator for many years.
