Jack was a Senior Client Partner in Korn/Ferry International’s New York office and a member of the firm’s advanced technology practice. He is a seasoned search executive specializing in placing executives in technology-driven companies, large and small. His focus within technology firms has included information technology (CIOs/CTOs and their direct reports), software, IT services/outsourcing and security (physical & IT). Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Cage was a partner in a top global executive search firm for four years. His search focus was on general management and information technology.
Before his search career, he served as a colonel in the U.S. Army. During his career, he was a commander of infantry units, a special assistant to the Army’s senior leadership and an information technologist. From 1995 to 1997, he served as a chief information officer (CIO) on the Army staff where he completed large-scale technology migration programs. Jack, an Airborne/Ranger, distinguished himself by being awarded three Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
Mr. Cage received a B.S. degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1975 and earned a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from Columbia University in 1982. He taught leadership, psychology and research methods at West Point.
For several years, he has been listed in The Marquis Who’s Who of America.
